Wayfinding

Wayfinding

Wayfinding is used for on site signage. We use a few simple styles to create a consistent feel across different signage types.

Wayfinding categories

Our brand has a very flexible design system, that can adapt for various environments, signage and wayfinding purposes. These are the three wayfinding types that are used in our brand.

Brand Signage

Our brand signage is simple and bold, consisting of the logo inside one of our iconic shapes.

PUCKERED SHAPE VERSIONS

Make sure you follow the clear space guidance when placing the logo inside a shape.

ROUNDED SHAPE VERSIONS

Our logo and shape is best executed as a 3d shape.

Wayfinding

We lock up directional arrows and illustrations with our typeface for signage and wayfinding.

SINGLE LINE AND ARROW

For a single line of text, align the arrow to the height of the text. Allow space for one letter to fit between the text and arrow icon.

MULTIPLE TEXT & ARROW

For multiple text lines, use the same clear space guidance as for a single line. Scale the arrow icon based on the below guides, and centre the around between the lines of text.

TEXT & ILLUSTRATION

For multiple text lines, use the same clear space guidance as for a single line. Scale the arrow icon based on the below guides, and align the arrow to the middle of the illustration.

Installation

For bespoke signage, such as murals or lighting installations, always use appropriate materials that are consistent with the interior style and architecture of the building.

ADDING SHAPES

To create new shapes, start with the existing shapes and combine them to create a larger shape.
